  1. Injury and infection are the two most common causes.  If its eye came in contact with a decoration, it will swell temporarily, much like an injured joint in people.  Pop eye is a bacterial infection that causes excess fluid (edema) to build up in the eye.  Treatment with a gram positive effective medication (Maracyn, EM Tabs, Triple Sulfa, Trisulfa, possibly Maracyn TC or TC Capsules) would be best.  If medicating, be sure to remove any activated carbon from the filter, and if using a tetracycline based medication, keep the tank dark, as this drug degrades with exposure to light.

  2. Most likely pop-eye. A common disease that is easily treatable. It is contagious, but do not move her! Move the other fish out of the tank! Or else the disease will spread to the other fish, and if you move her, she could have a miscarriage and re-absore the babies inside of her. Go to the pet store as soon as you can and buy meds for op=eye or bacterial infections. Treat the tank, but if there are any fry that have been born, they may not make it.=(

I hope your guppy gets better!=)
