My guppy is acting wierd?!?!?

i got a female guppy yesterday, and today it seems to like the floor i dont know if its pregnant because the belly is large-ish and the gravid spot is blackish blurry plzz helpl

It maybe sick!

But it maybe pregnant!

If it is sick it will:

Swim to top and just let its self fall back down!

Start to get red or white spots!

It will stop eating!

It will grow weak

If it is pregnant:

The back end and stomach will grow larger!

She will start lying down!

Will eat a little more then usual!

Start finding place to lay the eggs!

And become aggressive!

How old is this puppy? If really young (like 8wks) it likely has worms. Sick puppies can be very serious. If it's closer to 6 mos +/- she could be pregnant but it would be more obvious, like enlarged nipples, swollen v***a etc.

I guess either way she should see a vet soon

I would say she might be pregnant if her spot is darkening.  

The stress of a move can really get to guppies, so let her have another day and she how she does.  Also, make sure she has good water quality and that you've added dechlorinators and such.

my fish eats a lot of food when pregnant and lays in a corner all the time but i don't have a male so they don't make it o and her belly gets huge!
