I put her in a breeder net yeterday... today when I went to check on her (about an hour ago) there were two little babys on the bottom of the net, and she still looked huge.. so I left her to do her thing... I went back just now, and it is the same situation... two little ones, and she is still just as big, but now she looks a bit stressed- rubbing her sides on the bottom and sides of the net, and swimming back and forth like crazy... is this normal??

  1. This often happens with guppy, usually after a few hours all thr fries are out,but sometimes the female have some trouble giving birth. If shes not able to release them, she probably will die. I dont think theres anything you can do about it, but if she does die, in the seconds following her death, you can always try to release the fry by rubbing her belly really gently, but theres no guarantee the fry will still be alive. So watch your fish in the next hours if the babies are not out :S she might be in trouble...

  2. well dont sit here on your computer!

  3. get her out

  4. Try to see if there are any more babies that still come out   i would wait anoter few hours and if still nothing happens then i would take her out and have the 2 babies BEWARE!  she might eat the 2 babies soo plz take them out  cuz you r risking their lives

  5. Should you put in some fresh water-weed or water-ferm into the breeder net to reduce stress for your mommy guppy. Since water-weed and water-ferm make the living environment look like natural livespace.

Whenever visit the breeder net of mommy guppy, you should reach quitely.

1 male guppy join the breeder net is a good idea to make mommy guppy have more fun and forget the pain as bearing babies.
