My guy WONT get a hair cut! How do I get him trimmed down???????????

My guy has thin hair. It doesn't bother me, I think he's so s**y just the way he is, and however he looks in the future. I assure him of this, inside and outside of the bedroom. ;]

Now, I think for this reason, he dreads going into the barber shop. I think what would be great is for him to have one routine cutter, and just go back when needed. I believe he thinks that him letting his hair go a little long, will make it look thicker, and help cover his little (but growing) bald spot in the back. We are both in our mid 20's, and I just want him to get it cut! He's starting to get those little curly que's all around his head, and its just looking pretty bad. The same thing happens every time, then he usually just ends up buzzing it himself, and ...I guess for the most part it looks 'ok'. But HEY...much better than before.

So my question is...what is the best way to help him? Should he see my stylist? Do girls do crappy haircut jobs for men? at least I could tell her before hand what his concerns are (thin hair) and how she could help give him a better style.

What do you think

  1. Tell him that you'll love him to get a new haircut but you still love him.

Ask him like, "If you love me, you'll never say no.. and it's for your own good."

  2. Stop shaving your legs. Tell him that you'll get rid of your extra hair when he gets rid of his.

lol I read that somewhere before when a couple was having a similar issue. Not sure if it would be something you're up for though. Or if it would even matter much.

Have you explained all this to him? Told him everything you're telling us now? If you haven't then maybe you should try. In a nice way of course since you obviously care about him very much.

Maybe you can even look up (on Google or another search engine) some stylish hair cuts designed for men with thinning hair & then present them to him. Along with these cuts, there are also products such as shampoos, conditioners, serums, & mousses that are made for men with this specific problem.

Just be open with him about it & show that you're concerned.

    Good luck <3
