My hair and layers?!?!?

Okay well of course school is strating and I wanna get layers. I have blonde hair and its long but really thin. I wanna know how much thinkness can layers do to my hair and is there anything better to get??

if you get shorter layers, like a long bob, and then tease it, you will have a lot of volume!
