My hair is black. i wanna dye it dark brown.?

if i get Loreal 32 Teak (Light Ash Brown) since its a light brown shade and i have black hair. could it come out to be dark brown? i dont want to bleach my hair or anything. i just wanna dye it. if you dont think that shade works. can you give me another shade? thankks! (:

black is ridiculously hard to get out of hair.

bleaching it is the only way.

you have to start on a clean slate

black hair hey..you're gonna have to peroxide it or bleach it first. But that really damages your hair and weakens your strands. No matter what shade or brand is suggested, you're still going to have to dye your hair a lighter colour first..unless there's already bleach in the formulae of the dye

No..You have Black hair..For ANY color to show up on your hair, You will have to bleach your hair.
