My hair is black-red. i tried redying it dark brown twice after leting it fade, but red wont go away!?

The red dye was non-perm. i waited a month for it to fade, then non-permed it dark brown, but it turned out black red. i let it fade for about 2 months, and i just recently PERMANENTLY dyed it dark brown. it was fine until i got in the sun and you could see the red shine. HELP!

you would have to blench you hair to get it were it would come out the exact color you want it.

well, go to a salon or a sally beauty supply or something like that and ask for hair dye removal. but this means you will have to redo the brown again. Also, another thing you could do is simply swim in a chlorinated pool. it dries hair out a bit, but it will get your dye out over time. again, you will have to redo the brown. hope i helped!

If its a really big annoyance, just bleach your hair to a nearly white blond, and then dye it dark brown again.
