My hair is naturally thin and dry. How can I tackle it?

My hair is thin and quite dry. It's also thinning. I think since my hair is dry it might me prolonging my hairloss. I want something that will nourish it but the oil I've been told to use makes it very greasy.What can help my hair grow and what can nourish it because its dry? I know oil could work but my hair look terrible so there has to be a way. Thank you.

Simple home remedies that address both the thinness and the dryness of your hair are:

-Mayonnaise and/or egg whites. Massage it in to your scalp and leave it there for about five minutes and then rinse it in water that is as cold as you can stand it.

-White vinegar works as a conditioner. Mix a tablespoon of white vinegar with a pint of water and after shampooing, massage it into your hair. It actually changes the acidic compounds of your hair and makes it appear thicker and shinier. As a bonus, it doesn't leave an odor. The same goes for this remedy: wash your hair in as cold water as you can possibly stand.

-Finally, use a protein shampoo daily. You want a shampoo that contains hydrolyzed animal proteins. The proteins actually coat the hair and add diameter to it. The proteins are literally thickeners. This being said, the egg whites contain the hydrolyzed animal proteins, so you would most likely get the same result.
