My hair is really thick and frizzy how do i put it up other then a ponytail?

I have VERY frizzy curly hair.  This sounds odd but the next time after you wash it, put conditioner in your hands and run in through your hair like gel. Conditioner is much heavier than gel and it doesn't contain alcohol so it won't dry the same way.  You will be surprised at how much less frizzy your hair will be---and it won't look greasy either. I prefer Sauve conditioner because it is one of the thickest conditioners I can find.  I use it everyday in my hair.  You might be surprised at what you can do with your hair down if it's less frizzy!

Try getting a good flat iron from Sallys, like Helen of Troy..  Use some Proclaim Hair shiner and straighten it!!  Then you can wear it down

Other than that braid it or bun.

Thick hair is really good for messy buns. You could braid it if you want I guess. You could do a half-pony.
