i think if you have red hair, do NOT dye your hair brown first, i would take a blonde hair color that takes away the pigment in your hair, and then dye it blonde, but the best would be to go to the hairstylist and get them to dye your hair, they know what theyre doing

yeah it will look really good. in fact when you are going to die your hair blond, you should leave a little brown in it.
