My hair makes me look like Ronald McDonald. Help?

Question

I’ve had long hair all my life, and never gave any thought to short hairstyles, because I never planned to go there. But after a bleaching incident the other day, most of my hair unexpectedly fell out. Now I’m left with a style less hunk of hair and I have absolutely NO idea what to do with it.

And quite honestly, I look like Ronald McDonald. It’s the right shade and it sticks out a lot. It’s kind of gross.

I’ve been looking mostly at the kind of hairstyle usually classified as ‘punky’ – something choppy and messy. I’m willing to work for my hairstyle, but I really don’t want to spend more any than five minutes on it.

I’ve got some chub in my face (hehe) but otherwise, I’ve got an extremely small build, with tiny features. =] PLEASE give me some idea of what will flatter me. This probably should go without saying, but I really do want it to look cute on me. Pictures, descriptions, styling tips, whatever are GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much!

I like you hair. but honestly I wouldn't touch any form of dye for a little while I would concentrate on deep treatments while giving my hair that needed break.

The hair cut and color is cute.  But the top looks like you missed a few spots, go to sallys and buy some manic panic, its 6$ crimson color.  Or go to walmart and buy Jon Frieda red glaze.

And just straighten it, and flip the sides out.  And your style will look so cute!

Get rid of the color first off and I would do a pixie cut. It would look cute on you because you have the face to carry it off.  A pixie cut can be styled many ways (bed head, sleek, stacked in the back, spikey, etc...)

just start over, die your hair a dark or deep red. it will help alot. and bleach is horrible to use on your hair. i know from experience. it breaks your hair and fries it!! but just die it dark red and it should get better soon. and  use some good conditioner.

dude,honestly I think its awesome..It looks like you ment for it to turn out like that. If you really hate the colour that much you could (Wait a few days) and dye it brown.

it looks like your hair is really dry from the dy job so u should get either a hot oil treatment or deep conditioning. u look good with short hair so i'd just style it with a choppy look. i think it would look really good on u =] and if you want to dy it again, i would really hold off until ur hair has recovered from the first one

Actually... I kind of like your hair. lol. Just dye it a diff color maybe, and put some streaks in.

It looks pretty fried.  Before you do anything you need to consider some deep conditioner. What about getting it short like the girl on Mr. Magoriums wonder emporium?  Maybe not THAT short, but close.  You can gel it to part it and make it look feminine.

try using a wig till it grows back.  You can get custom wigs at a wig shop.
