hi! well my hairstylist of three years is losing her touch, she's in pain all the time, which i hate for her...buuut, she hasn't cut my hair well the last few times i've been there. i can tell she's distracted by pain even though she never complains about it. my mom sees her too so it's not like i can just not make appts with her anymore, she'll ask my mom what i'm up to. i want to start going somewhere else, what should i do?

  1. She won't get mad if you stop coming. If she hasn't cut it nicely, the way you want it, you should just find someone else.

  2. This happens often.  Don't feel guilty.  If she is professional she will understand if you don't come back to her.  If she asks your mom about you, your mom could tell her that a friend of yours is doing your hair, or your schedule doesn't work with hers.  I am not much on lying, but if it will save face a little twisting of the truth to spare someone's feelings is ok.
