I have GHD straighteners and it is very hard to get my hair straight. when i straighten my fringe it just sort of goes to one side. My hair is quite long at the back in a sort of mullet style and when i straighten it at the back it just sort of moves to one side as well. When i straighten my side burns they just go curly! any tips to combat this.

Thanks

  1. always use heat protection spray :)

    it works better.

  2. Use A Hair Serum Which Will Help To Keep you Hair Straight .,. I Suffered With The Same Problem And I Used The Advance Techniques Hair Straightening Serum .. Its really good And It Keeps your Hair Straight :) . x

  3. Maybe your straightener isn't hot enough for the thickness of your hair?  I'm not sure what a GHD straightener is, but I have one with mutliple heat settings.  Try that.

  4. leave in conditioner.

  5. get a hair iron!! that is what i use!!

and then get wax(sort of like hair gel but waxy)

use very minimum ammount of it!! it will help ur hair not to be ruiened!!!

  6. go with a "Sedu" straightener, it goes up to 200 degrees i believe, so you should keep it on 200 and straight your hair, go over the hair more than once, and go slowly and separate it into parts.

  7. use straightening shampoo it will help a little bit, and is it a wet dry?? or just for dry hair? if its just for dry hair then i dont have any suggestions other than get a new straightener, and if its a wetdry to using it when ur hair is wet so it drys stright.,

  8. get a friend to place your hair on a baord and iron it.

  9. Are you just straighting it, without any chemicals? I suggest an anti frizz serum, or an anti curly one. You can find them at walgreens, cvs, sally's, etc. If you wanted to, you could go to a place to get it chemically straighten..

  10. Use hair products designed to help straighten hair

  11. Well, try some straightening shampoo. I use Herbal Essences. Its in the pink bottle.

Then just put pomade in it then try to straighten it.

  12. My tips:

    - Leave GHD's  to heat up for longer

    - Go from the root of your hair and work VERY slowly down.

    - Hold at/near the roots for longer than the rest- not by a long time, just enough to help it stay down.

    - Straighten by taking the hair and holding it up, and go with it. (Leaves a bit of "oomph")

IF all else fails, use a blow dryer & comb.

  13. Try using straightning gel after you get out of the shower
