  1. Dont offer them a cup of tea or coffee, unless its decaff of course!

  2. I can't think of anything. Just enjoy each other, and that baby!

  3. Just be yourself.  They probably don't drink alcohol or coffee.  Just treat them like you would any guest.  But no smart aleck remarks about polygamy! ;-)

  4. There's not much you can do in such a short time.  But just rest assured that your salvation is in the Jesus Christ of the Bible not the jesus christ of the Mormon church.

You might want to checkout the info on Mormonism over at http://ezek27.truepath.com

  5. You'd be respectful to:

    not swear or be crude/vulgar

not offer coffee, tea, smokes, or alcohol

not put in an R rated movie

That's about all I can think of.

  6. They're entering YOUR home

It's up to them to respect your space - not the other way around

  7. When Mormons come to my door I invite them in and offer the choice of a beer or coffee. They usually p**s off fast!

  8. don't mention the magic underwear...

  9. Do not make fun of the silliness of their religion. Don't offer them anything with caffeine in it.

  10. Ignore Desiree - most regulars on this board are use to her nasty bigoted comments and dismiss them (even the atheists).

I am LDS.  Most of my family is not.  They swear, drink and smoke.  I ask them not to smoke when we're around as my daughter and I are both severe asthmatics.  But besides that, I don't worry about it (if the swearing gets out of hand, I will say something because there are children present, but that's it).  I'm not visiting them to convert them, I'm visiting them because they're family and I love them no matter what.

Most LDS are aware that their way of life is different and do not judge others for not adhering to our tenants.

  11. Just act normal.

They are normal people just like you. Just because someone believes something different doesn't mean people need to act differently around them.

  12. hug u'r niece, brother and sis-in-law, love covers all things.
