My hammy don't like me??

Question

Ok...so i have had this hamster for about one or two months...it MAYBE a little around three...yeah so anyways he is not afraid of me cause he will take treats right out of my hand and he is really cute i named him Phantom and i bought another hamster (they have different cages) and he climbs right into my hand but Phantom doesn't he bites...i pet him and he bites he doesn't jump at all....HELP PLEASE!!

Well, hamsters have different personalities. Also, it could be that Phantom is just protective of his territory. Hamsters can be really protective so you should try to get the hamster out of the cage and play with him in a safe spot where he can't hurt himself by running around like crazy.

If your having prolems getting him out, you could try to give him a treat like a pumpkin seed or a piece of fruit and while he's chewing on that you can pick him up.

Just keep trying to bond, if you show him lots of love, I'm sure that eventually he'll come around like your other hamster.

Some hamsters just have a bad temperament, sounds like he is one of those. You cannot tame / handle a hamster that has temperament issues. There is only one person to carry the blame for that and that's the breeder. Some breeders are not to concerned about temperament issues.
