  1. Just be aware that she may not be pregnant but the lump could instead be a tumor within her body. She may be passing away, unfortunately, the best thing for you to do is be there to comfort her. If she IS pregnant, and DOES deliver, that's a very interesting thing for an animal of her age, because she is quite old. Most hamsters live to be 2-3 years of age, so she is getting up there in years. Be aware that she may be passing away, just keep comforting her and being there for her.

Good luck, hun. I hope the best.

  2. I'm sorry but I don't know much about hamsters. =/

I babysat my cousin's hamsters but nothing ever happened

to them like this.My advice would be to call the vet

and ask.Tell them what's been happening and see if there

is anything you can do.It sounds to me like your hamster

might have caught something.Maybe she was bitten by something?

Look it up online maybe, type in hamster contractions

or illness and what to do about it.

Make sure her cage is clean, she has food and fresh water.

And let her rest. Before and after you pet her-if you do,

be sure to wash your hands or put hand sanitizer on them.

    I'm sorry.I wish I could help more.Good luck! Keep a close

eye on your hamster. And don't feed her anything you're not

    supposed too.

  3. Hi normally hamsters don't live past 3 so your hammy is very old! I don't think she is preggie or if she is sometimes older rodents get the unborn young stuck in side them.. And when giving birth they don't normally lay on there side... She could even be dieing :( Female hamsters SHOULDN'T be bred after they are 18 months max!  Iam very sorry, but she might not make it... Hope this helps.
