My hamster's an albino it used to be hairy at its backside now its short and now loosing more hair any advise

its mostly loosing its hair at the back legs, my hamster loves to clean him self, i think maybe too much as he can spend 20 mins cleaning himself and he does that through out the day

sometimes when a hamster reaches middle age (approx 18 months apparentley) They can suffer fur loss like human can suffer hair loss (Mainly men).... If you have already checked for lice, mites, hamster excema, basically if his skin looks healthy, and hes not scratching or got bites or anything, make sure he's not allergic to anything, have you changed his bedding sawdust or anything in his cage recentley..... If its none of these, its generally not anything to worry about, but it does look unsightly and unhealthy even tho it isnt... crush a Yeast tablet and mix it in with his food, Yeast contains some kind of B vitamin which promotes hair growth. If he doesnt like it straightaway, dont panic, if he's hungry he'll eat it and it wont do any harm. Of course if there are other symptoms or you're still worried take him to the vets for peace of mind... Good Luck xxxx

its nervers,the little buggers get so nervious they tare out fur,are you sure its a male? females do that when there are ready  to breed.
