  1. NO. because if you do, the mother will EAT them. just wait until they get bigger and their eyes open

  2. yes you can. be extremley careful when handling the babies, and put them somewhere safe while cleaning the cage.

  3. i think its usaully around a week in half b4 u can do that.. but go on google or any other hamster websites you know and look it up just to be on the safe side.. better be safe than sorry!..but yea. try to look it up on websites bcuz usaully ppl on here will usaully always give u diffrnt times and stuff.... hav fun with the baby hammies!! hav fun and good luck!

  4. no!!!

the mother may abandon them / eat them

what you could try do is put a box in and hope they crawl in and if they do put them in your bath untill the cage is clean then move them but this will disturb the mothers nest so wouldn't be that great of an idea

    good luck

    and

The babies need to be at least 2 weeks old before you start handling them. At this time it is safe to touch them for short periods of time and it is also safe to clean the cage. You should also be feeding the mother hard boiled egg and diced carrots. This will give her the extra protein she needs to help raise her babies. Make sure you remove Mom's wheel (if you haven't already).

When the babies are 3 weeks old, they need to be seperated from their mother and and each other (boys in one cage and girls in another). You can continue to feed the babies egg and carrots, this will help them in their growth.  At 5-6 weeks of age, the babies are ready to go to their new homes.

For the ones you are getting rid of, I would suggest talking with your local pet store about a week before they are ready to go to their new homes and see if they are willing to take them. Some pet stores will buy them and others will give in-store credit just thought i would add this for extra help

  5. You shoud leave them alone. Mother hamsters have a tendinsy of eating there babies if you touch them. It is a horrible lesson to learn. Spray some febreeze and ride it out, that is if you want the babies.

  6. i won't unless i really sure it's safe

  7. I don't think so i think your best leaving it and letting the mother clean out the bedding she will know what to do all you can do know is just watch. Hope they are all ok.

  8. youre not supposed to touch them until theyre 2 weeks old

and after 3 weeks you can move them to a new cage

i wouldnt touch it until then, just deal with the smell
