  1. You will have to get a cap.

  2. You need to take her to the vet. Seriously, I don't know why people allow their children to get animals if they won't take them to the vet. Tell your mother just because it's a small animal doesn't mean that it doesn't deserve medical attention. I take my guinea pigs to the vet once a year for an annual check up.

You're going to want to keep track of what she's eating. If you see that she's not eating as much, that's when you need to do something. Because her teeth are broken it will be very hard for her to eat, especially since their diet consists mainly of seeds. It may seem like she's eating what's in the bowl but she'll probably just stick it into her cheeks and hoard it in her nest, not necessarily eat it.

If that's the case, you'll need to syringe feed her and I know nothing about that so you'll want to do some research or you can call up an exotics vet and ask. They should be able to tell you what to do without seeing her directly. it wouldn't hurt to call the vet anyway just to see. Explain your situation and maybe they can have a doctor call you back.
