We have a robo dwarf hamster and are worried something may be wrong. She can't eat a carrot. She tries but no bites. She attempts to bite our fingers but no real bite is made. Is there something wrong with her teeth?

  1. Um... i'm not sure. Are you sure she's actually trying? Maybe she doesn't like it. Maybe she's getting old and her teeth aren't strong enough or either because she hasn't gtotten to bit on anything for a long time. Hope this helps.

  2. I would get her checked by a vet!!!  She may have an infection in her gums or just bad teeth.

Here are some websites that might help!!

    Hope that helps

  3. Nothing is wrong with her. Robos are generally the smallest of the Dwarf hamster group, which means they also have small teeth. It maybe she just doesnet like carrots. My dwarfs never ate carrots. And with the bititng the ringe, her teeth are probably just to small for you to actually feel.

  4. the carrot might be too hard and too big for the robos mouth. at my work (petco) we give our robos cabbage. also make sure you have a wood chew so they can keep their teeth healthy. also it could be getting old if you have had it for a while and her teeth might be a bit sensitive

  5. I wouldn't worry too much i have three robos and they sometI'mes do this but then after a little while they eat in when im not looking. Good Luck
