My hamster has a HUGE lump on the side of her face!?

HELP!

My little sister's hamster has this lump on the side of her face where her right pouch is and I'm worried that it might be a tumor because I know that small rodents like rats and hamsters are prone to getting tumors! The lump is really big but does not seem to be causing her any pain. Lately she's lost weight and is becoming quite lethargic! She's almost two years and I'm pretty sure that if we brought to the vet they would euthanize her! We thought at first that is might just be a build up in her pouch but it is getting bigger and its really hard!

For Pumpkin's sake will you please poste any suggestions about what I should do or what it could be?!

If it is a hard lump it is a tumour. My hammie was put down yesterday because of a tumour on the right side of his face. I first noticed he had a cough/sneeze when i first got him 6 weeks ago, but it got worse and a lum came up, took him to vets and they gave him antibiotics, which didnt help so took him back yesterday, they operated to see what it was and found that it was a tumour and put him down. it would've been cruel for me to keep him alive as it wouldve got painful and uncomfortable. Im glad I caught it before he was aware of it. Poor little thing, I miss him so much, I've got the day off work I'm os devastated. Please take your hammie to the vets, don't let him suffer :)

My hamster is 3 years of age but suddenly before school i saw a growth on his cheek it just looked like food but as i got home it was HUGE My mom has sugested that it is a tuma :[

I have been feeding my hamsters sunflower seeds only, until my mum bought them the hamster "mix"... it has like chunks in them, now i am not sure whether they are their storing food or if it is a tumor of some sort. the girl hammie has it on both sides of her face, and the boy hammie on one side!! I am a bit worried they are just a couple months old now. the lumps arent hard, they soft, iv have squeezed the lump and it felt as if something has broke or crushed is it the food ?? PLEASE HELP????

Alright. has any pressure been applied to the neck or wherever the lump is? Is the lump hard or soft? Does it have fur on? If it is uneven, it may just be a piece of food. Try to avoid touching it for a while, if this continues to worry you then take it to a vet. If it was a tumour, it would be soft and round.

my hampster has a huge lump on the right side of his face near his throat, its getting bigger and it is really black (maybe a scab), i came home today and there was blood all over his cage, he is almost 3 years old and i dont know what to do for him.

my hamster has the sam problem but he is only 10 months old and its my little sister but he doesnt seem to be bothered, she loves him to much and to lose him would kill her. We have taken all the food out of his cage for a bit but its been like this for a week now and she is realy worried. But this hamster has had the same food as our other three hamsters and they are all fine!  whats wrong with him???
