My hamster has a pink lump on ita butt?

My hamster has a pink lump between its butt and its tail. It looks like two ovals stuck together. Its fur is over laping the top of the lump but when you turn him upside down then you can see it. is it its balls or is it sick?

those are his testicles.  i can't help but laugh a little bit because i got freaked out a long time ago by that.  i thought my hamster had a tumor or cyst and then i realized what that really was.  when i read about that i learned that sometimes they kinda pop out when the hamster is warm.  most of the time my guy keeps them covered up but when it gets a little hot in here well, he lets them hang out so to speak!

I think that is cancer because that is what my hamster slinky  had. We took her to the vet and they told us it was cancer. Then a week later she passed away. :(

Those are the testicles. Hamsters can retract their testicles so they can have one or no testicles at all. So sometimes they have two, one, or none.
