My hamster has a sore-like-thing on his throat what is this?

i discovered my hamster has a tumor or sore on his throat it is in the shape of a small hole it is a pinkish color and my hamster is a black bear hamster and is about 2 years old please help!!! i want to help him!

Hamsters only live 2-3 years he may just be going bald.  It may also be a rash if he's been sleeping in soiled litter.

When hamsters get older they usually develop tumors. Take him to your vet and he might be able to remove it. But considering its on his throat it will have to be left there. But go to the vet ASAP i no cancer is rare for hamsters but he might have it.
