My hamster has some weird scratches on his back...?

He has a small bald spot and what looks like a scab. Should I take him to the vet or do you think it will heal on its own?

does he squeal alot lately?

this happened to my guinea pig.  only he was squealing for a couple of weeks before i saw all the scabs on his neck.

he had scabies.  gross, huh?

ya, it caused bald spots, itching and scabs.

i would not wait to take your poor guy in, dont let him suffer!!!!

I'm not a hamster expert but,you should take it to the vet because you never know what might happen. Hope he/she makes it through. :D
