Its bored.

theres nothing to do.

I suggest some cage toys.

Or make a little enclosed space on the floor and put some pillows or random things it can climb around on are put it in there.

If he gets up to eat, then goes right back to sleep./

just wake him up and play around with him

ps. You know their nocturnal right?

That's what hamsters do.  Overall, they aren't very interesting critters.

Maybe hes lonly hun, he really needs a mate. try this and see what happens ok. they dont like to be alone hun good luck
