  1. you've got to be kidding. my hamster was missing last week. i couldn't find him, but he's fine now. i think he'll be fine, too. if not ( which is like a 3% chance) i am sorry.

  2. my advice is to close all of your bedroom and bathroom doors and cover the cracks up with blankets but before you do that take like fruit loops or her favorite treats and make a trail that that leads to a bucket with a ramp attached to it and put the treats on the ramp.put a folded towel in the bucket so when it falls in it doesntget hurt because dwarfs are danty.dont give up just keep looking she maynot be dead.also you need to pick up any rat or mouse traps if you set them out.get your cat out of the house.check for her in the laundry basket and under couches and in the corners of rooms.hope that helped cause it took forever to type

  3. is he died???

    learn grammar please

  4. prob not dead i lost my mice twice but got them back.they liking hiding under stuff.u better hope u got no cats or dogs.ull prob find him just look under stuff and if ur room is on a 2nd floor the u can get him then for sure as long as thers no holes on the walls

  5. ohhhh.

    i lost my hamster.

and i found a day later in a slipper. :]

  6. aww...i hate to say should have gotten a rat (there much smarter) um....i don't think he would have died yet but being a hamster its going to be hard to find...i would just keep an eye out and fruit

  7. I'm sure he's just exploring. Keep watching for p**p.  That's a good sign where he may be.  Be sure to set out water bottles for him too.  Hamsters like to nest and chew.  Get all electrical cords off the ground, so he doesn't chew through them & electrocute himself.  He might try to make a nest beneath the sofa or chair and crawl up in there.  When its quiet tonight go around the house and listen for him moving around.  Have adults help you look for him.  Watch where you step. Keep all dogs and cats outside or confined to a room you know he's not in.  Good luck!

  8. he is probably not he is probly just scared or somthing i wouldnt worrie.but you mite wanna put some penut butter down they love penut butter

  9. I find using a flashlight is useful when trying to find something.  It's very easy to look into a dark corner and fool yourself that there's nothing there.    Plus, if you look somewhere and only a little bit of him is visible, it's easier to see that if you have a good light.

    Good luck!

  10. Leave some food pellets around the room that might help you find him......

  11. check under the beds its only been a day they can live a few days on there own dont worry you will find him

  12. well no you really just need to keep looking and pray. praying helps alot! my hamster went missing and i prayed and later that day i found him you just need to keep your faith up ;) hope i could help!

  13. Not necicarily, he might still be alive. Do yuo have any other pets? Make sure you remember how much food you put out, in case he takes some. Also, check under the fridge and things like that. And you should do it at night, the like night better.Good Luck!!!!!!

  14. Pawnage lol.

(Nice Julia B and stuntman mike, made me lol)

Anyways, to answer the question. I used to have hamsters, and they often went missing. Best places to look are behind bookshelves and under beds. The like to crawl inbetween things and hide. You say you have a big house so... a good idea is starting in one part of the house and working to the other side. Whenever you finish searching an area, block it off, i.e. close a door or put a board in a passage way. Good luck on your hamaster searching.

  15. call over some of your friends ans ask them if they can help u try and find my hamster. my hamster go lost in my bedroom but i found him later. i hope u find him. keep putting food out. try looking in weid placing hamster like to make beds so if u have newpapers laying around look under them.

hope u find your hamster. hope i helped!

  16. I'm sorry to hear about you dwarf hamster, I have one and I would be sooo sad if i lost him! Set some water out around the house as well as the food. Set food trap( put food in a bucket and have the bucket up on an angle using books create stairs into the angled bucket, that way he canot get out. YOU WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO FIND HIM AT NIGHT, THEY ARE NOCTORNAL.

  17. Maybe you should actually spend your time looking for him than going on Y!A. Do you really thing we will find it for you?

  18. I highly doubt he is dead. If he found somewhere comfortable he might stay there for a while. Try this trick. I have recomended it to another user and they said it worked great. Good luck!! your hamster will be fine.

Set up a "bucket trap" by getting a bucket (deep enough that a hamster couldn't get out of but not so deep that a hamster would get hurt falling in), and place a thick towel on the bottom. On top of the towel you place some really tasty treats such as a thin layer of peanut butter on a cracker, apple slices, and/or cheese (something the hamster will easily smell). Then, make some sort of ramp up the outside of the bucket using wood, a wire shelf, or books stacked to make a staircase. The idea is that the hamster will go up the ramp in search of the food and jump into the bucket to get it, but can't climb back out. I have never tried this personally but have heard it works; the trick is to make the treat so irresistible the hamster will be willing to jump in the bucket for it.

  19. This happened to me once...I really don't know how he got out of the cage, but I never saw him again...good luck

  20. Hamsters really vegetables and have a strong nose, check the kitchem

  21. he could be dead, sorry =( you have to face the reality

maybe he could be hiding or he excaped the house.

i know it might be hard, but for now just asume he's dead and get a new hamster. maybe later after you get a new hamster, he could show up, but there is a good chance he could be dead or even more of a chance that he escaped

  22. Put something out with peanut butter on it. The smell is really strong and if he's out there, he will smell it.  Check to see if the PB has been touched; if so, he's still around (unless you have rats or mice, too).  If he's dead, sorry to say, you will smell it in a few days.  Unless he found a way outside.

  23. He could be deaded, yes.

  24. No, he is going to show up.

  25. Ok, my hamster has gotten lost 3 times that i can remember. All times I was lucky enough to find her. Honestly, your hamster might be dead or might die soon. The thing is that they can get into couches and walls and die there. You'll know if he's dead though because you can smell the dead animal =(. There is also a very good chance that he is alive and having the time of his life with all of this freedom =). What I would do is get alot of mouse traps--the kind that doesn't hurt/kill them--and set them all around the house. Just to be sure, I would check under any furnature: beds, couches, tables, nightstands, desks, chairs, ext. There is a good possibility that he will be under there. When my hamster got lost, I found her: Once-under my bed Once-Walking across the livingroom with my cat Mia stalking her Once-under the laptop and desk. I hope this info helps...The best of luck finding your hamster!

  26. COULD BE SLEEPIN SOME WHERE.. LOOK UNDER UR BED /COUCH/ CLOTHES IN THE LAUDRY ROOM..

  27. dont worry i know how you feel i lost my guinea pig before and i lost a jerbal before in my house. i lost my jerbal two times actually. she chewed through her plastic cage but anyways im sure your hamster will show up. i ended up finding my jerbal in my couch. hahaha so look EVERYWHERE because they are small and hide in the weirdest places. good luck =)

  28. My hampster got lost once, He went inside the walls through a hot water heater pipe. My suggestion is to try and put small amounts of food near the corners of your house to see if he comes out from behind anything. Just keep an eye out. Thats the best you can do.
