  1. Put some of her favorite treats in your hand put your hand in her cage and let her eat out of your hand.  Do this for like three days.  Then when you think she feels comfortable, gently lift her up, when she comes to get a treat, for about two to three seconds and then put her back down.  And when you feel that she will let you handle her, you can pick her up, and pet her.  I hope this helps.

  2. When you hit the cage, you "told" her that she isn't safe there. Don't reach in and leave the cage alone in a quiet place for 2-3 days. Next time, control your anger. It wasn't her fault she bit you - it was in self defense

  3. put a treat in your hand and gently lay it down in the cage. dont pick her up, just let her crawl on you and snatch the treat. do this for, say, 3 days? then, while she crawls on you, lift her up slightly and set her back down. do this 2 times on the fourth day. then, on the fifth, pick her up and stroke her, talking to her before you do this- they cant see well so she might not see you at first and bite you out of surprise so say like hi hammy!!! i wont hurt you!!! THEN try and place you hand in the cage.
