  1. Break it thats all you can do! Dont push bec. that could snap their neck! Hope this helps best wishes!

  2. if u can't push him out u hav to cut the tube

    be careful though

  3. pull him out or push him out if that doesent work take him to te vet

  4. Break the tube.Start at the farthest end with pliers or shears and get a crack going.

  5. well since the vet would probably laugh at ur fat hamster ;) maybe u should try using butter or cooking oil and sliding him out!!!!!

just make sure he doesnt eat it..... dont want him to get any bigger now do we?!?

  6. Either carefully break the tube,or appy a TINY bit of cooking oil to help get him out,but make sure it doesn't go near his nose, eyes or probably mouth. This happend to me but luckly a was able to put him out and then he was fine. The other option is to call the vets.Hope this helps and you get him out.

  7. hey would you be asking questions in QnA if your SON,BROTHER,SISTER ETC  were stuck in a tube somewhere??("now his head is squashed between his body") you would be trying to save them immediately right?? BREAK THAT TUBE!!! and get it out!!

  8. it gona be hard to get him out without hurting him u got to evan if it does hurt him unless u rather him stuck in there

  9. I've had a lot of hamsters, and I'm glad to say that this has never happened to one of them.

You probably don't want to push him out. If he can't get himself out (and hamsters are incredibly good at getting in and out of small spaces), you're probably just going to hurt him.

As suggested in other answers, your best bet is to cut the tube with something strong that can slice right through plastic. If you don't feel that this is a safe idea because you might hurt your hamster, try disassembling the tube. Most tubes come apart into two halves for cleaning. Practice taking a tube apart that does not have a hamster stuck in it, and see if you can get the hamster out this way.

If none of these methods work and it's a VERY short tube, give your hamster a tiny prod in the rear to try to get his head out. If your hamster makes a sound of discomfort, or if feel you need to use more than just gentle pressure to help him, then go to the vet.

Needless to say, take the rest of the tubes out of the cage. You don't want a repeat of this.

  10. Oh my gosh! Tell me he's going to be okay!

    Is he alive?

Try to stick something in the tube and push him out! Don't worry about hurting him because he's going to die if he doesn't get out! There's not much air circulation for a hamster's tiny lungs!

  11. OMG! LMFAO!!!!!!

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

Ohh man, im sorry, but seriously, its THAT funny. Ahh, well I say just try and poke him out with your finger or cut it at the furtherest end and slowly work your way up there. and next time... GET A BIGGER TUBE!

omg! I still cant believe your hamster got stuck in a tube. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Suuuch a funny image.

  12. Think it's time for a new hamster man.

  13. Cut him

  14. the least risky way is to cut the tube open, if you have a strong cutter or ask a neighbour if they have one that can cut the tube, it will at least make the distance he has to travel when you try to push him out less.

If you cant take him out, take him to an emergancy vets and they will help you get him out and if he has any injuries or (horribly but could posisbly happen) break his back or neck equipment is right there to deal with it.

I guess the other option is to brace it and slowly but firmly push him out. It's like having your arm stuck in the back of a chair you usually need someone else to help you get it out because you end up panicking so much. Give him a push, if you cannot budge him then you will need someone to cut it open.

You could also try pushing the tube so it bends slightly int the middle making it wider where his head is, this tiny amount of extra width might help, but again there is a risk in doing this as you are squishing the rest of him.
