  1. They will use their instincts. Just make sure there is enough water and food. Don't touch them or the parents could eat them(no jokes). They will be fine, just leave them.

  2. I don't know. Call a vet or ask in the proper section. This is for human babies.

  3. Hello.Just make sure that the mother has somewhere quite and safe to hide with them.Don't try to touch them as the mother may kill them as they don't like our smell on their new babies.Continue to feed and water her as usual. She will probably need more food as she is making milk.Dried food and fruit and veg.Still clean her out but don't touch the nest until the babies are old enough to come out. When they are 6 weeks old you need to seperate the sexes or you will have even more baby hamsters. If you can't find homes for them then, contact an animal welfare association to ask for help.

  4. lol, I'm kinda glad this is in the wrong category!

i used to raise hamsters. first of all you need to REMOVE the father, if he is in the same cage as the mother and babies. if you don't have the father, then you adopted a pregnant hamster (happens sometimes).

make sure you give her EXTRA bedding. do not use cedar or even pine bedding, that c**p causes upper respiratory problems, you can get a recycled paper bedding at a good pet supply. you need to get her on a high protein diet, cat food is okay, but i would say get some rat pellet at your local pet store. NOT seed! seed is poor food, and should only be used as a treat. pellet food is better for them.

make sure that her bedding is cleaned out every 3 days while babies are there, after the 1st week (there is going to be a lot of peeing and pooping going on).

put in fresh veggies (like carrots, celery, apple etc) for mom.

watch her carefully and make sure she's tending to the babies properly.

get a vet appointment and have her and babies checked out.

when they are old enough (between 3-4 weeks old) you can remove them from mom, and find them to new homes.

PLEASE find them homes before 6 weeks of age, they become sexual mature then and can inbreed!

  5. coat them in a flower and egg mix and put them in a frying pan 4 min  each side.
