  1. It sounds like it's just skiddish. I wouldn't read too much intoit. In fact...film it and put it on you tube

  2. try talking to him/her softly and say its ok... i hear that hamsters can understand u well.  and/or u can move the cage

  3. hamsters are very timid and you have to be really careful because they get scared easilly you will have to just try giving it more attention and try to be careful around its cage.

  4. Move is cage to a quiter area.

Also, do you handle him alot? He seems abit weary and scared. Handle him abit more might give him some confidence.

  5. um how bout u stop making so much noise near him an it wont foooooo

  6. You r hamster may be in heat

  7. this takes alot of time if she is new spend time with her when you go past try to feed her or encourage her to come to the front of the cage.

  8. juss ignore it - that should calm it down and give him attention when he is calm - it might teach him.  But idk - thats what u do with puppies and dogs so it mgiht work

  9. Hamsters depend only on their sense of sound and smell and not their sight. Hence if you make a sudden noise near your hamster, he would definitely jump. The best way to calm him is to prevent making those sudden sounds and when you go near him, hang around him to make him know through your scent that it is you only before you call out to him to prevent him from getting jumpy.

Hamsters are scared of new sounds and scents too, so if your hamster is not yet used to you, first spend some time taming him so that he starts trusting your sound and smell implicitly.
