My hamster needs a new ball.should i get a knda car or a regular ball?

If you have a Syrian hamster, stick with a regular ball because the cars are to small. If you have a dwarf or Chinese, you can get ether one or both.

i think you should stay with a normal ball all hamsters love them so you can be sure that you dont waste your money, my hamster just love theres and ur probaly does as well so you cant have a hamster without 1 :)

I've had both kind of contraptions for my hamsters and I know that while the car looks cool and is more fun for humans the hamster will enjoy the ball far more.

Cars are cute, but all the ones I've seen only allow your pet to travel in a straight line. If I was only getting one, I'd go for a ball. If you're adding an additional out of cage toy, then add a car to the existing ball.

Well it depends, big hamsters need big hamster balls, the regular ones. Small hamsters can do either, but might prefer the car. Good luck choosing.

As long as he can move around freely and safely while in it, I don't think he'll care much what you get him. I think the cars are more for those who just think their hamsters look adorable in them. Word of caution though: With the plastic hamster balls, don't let them stay in the sun too long because the plastic will get hot and may burn your critter's feet!

i can't really say you should get a ball at all.

people seem to think that rodent like to be completely confused and afraid in a perfect sphere that rolls around in all different directions out of their control.

most mice, rats, gerbils and hamsters put in these balls are not having run running around, they are trying to get out. but when they climb up the sides to what they think is escape, they get rolled around more and more.

i'd suggest getting a wheel (at least they can choose to be in it), or some other fun jungle gym toys for you hammy, he will love it alot more!

I would say that you should get the regular ball because they cost less and they on made the car attached to it so the owner can waste their money on more plastic and besides, the hamster wont even notice the difference
