  1. Pyometra. This can affect the female, at any age, whether she has been bred from or not. But tends mostly to affect the older female.

It could also be a uterine infection, either way she really needs to see the vet. My hamster had the same thing. Its called wet tail. They sell medicine at petco, petsmart, etc. Its a tablet, you put it inside the hamster's water bottle and it will dissolve.

    sounds like wet tail

  2. You must see a vet! Your hamster could have a serious problem, or a minor problem...but you don't want to take chances! It is very critical that you see a vet for your pet, so i strongly reccomend that you do just that...bleeding is very rare for hamsters, so you should totally get it checked out.Dont try any self medication or ask anyone who has little knowledge. Please go on and meet the vet immediately.

  3. she etheir coul be "in heat" wich means menastrating . go to the vet to be sure.

  4. This could be a common hamster disease called "wet tail" you NEED to get your hamster to a vet, this could be very serious.

  5. she might have wet tail. my hamster had that.

  6. Bleeding is not normal and means that she needs to see a vet right away.  It could be coming from her reproductive system or from her urinary system.  It is definitely *not* wet tail as someone suggested, wet tail is basically diarrhea not blood.

    Good luck at the vet.
