i cant take her to the vet. i wish i could but i cant. she eats and drinks normal and sleeps most of the day but is very active at night. she is a teddy bear. her seizure lasted a few seconds and then she was fine. she screamed, shook, bit me (not hard) and flung onto her back. shes never ever bit anyone before. also she is only a few months old. i really want to help her. other than the sniffling and sneezing and sort of vibrating, she has no other signs of a cold.

  1. How about calling a vet over the phone. This could be very serious for your fuzball.

  2. You're not going to find some over-the-counter remedy.  If she is sick and you really want to help her, you need to take her to a vet.

  3. simply calling a vet (free of charge)  can better help you out...i DO know that animals (including humans) have seizures for similar reasons...probably something genetic or in the brain...but since (s)he bites you, dont try 2 restrain it..just let it work its course....also, judging that hamsters have impeccable hearing, it was probably scared into a seizure...flashing lights...sudden vibrations...weirdness like that...i also suggest researching seizures in general to learn more about it & how you can possibly help your teddie...
