  1. maybe try and put a treat in the palm of your hand and let him come to you and eat out of your hand. stroke him while he's eating

he may be biting you because he's scared and if youre trying to grab him he feels threatened. so if you let him come to you he'll eventually trust you.

after doing this for a couple of days when he climbs in your hand while eating lift him up and try holding him. (but no more than 8 inches off the ground incase he jumps)

also try wearing gloves if he learns he wont hurt you when he bites he might stop

hope this helps you more than telling you to feed him to your cat or to bite him back

    good luck

  2. feed it to your cat, fluffy.

  3. Well its a wild animal. That should tell you something.

  4. BITE HIM BACK !! REVENGE OF THE OWNERS!

  5. bite him!

  6. how long have you had him? chances are that you have either woken him up or have not tamed him. if you wake him up, get him out of his nest by getting food and moving it back from him if he comes to eat it. if he is out of the nest, he should not bite IF HE IS TAMED. i

if he isn't tamed, try just sticking your hand in his cage AT NIGHT for a couple of minutes and let him explore it. after a couple of days start putting food into your palm. if he trusts you enough, he will sit there and eat it. it will take a while, just be patient. you have to take your time and let him do it as long as he feels.

  7. give him some wooden chew toys and put food in your hand and he will soon trust you

  8. Syrian hamsters are territorial, bring hammy somewhere else and he won't bite

  9. It has rabies.

  10. beat em lol im just playin... maybe it just needs a lil toy to chew on

  11. get rid of it... or don't stick ur hand in the cage

  12. well what kind of hamster is he because some hamsters could be really agrissive but on the other hand the golden or teddy bear hamster is the most domesticated.

  13. Shock collar

  14. good luck! lol

we had a guinea pig (I think they are similar to hamsters?) and she lived till she was 5 and a half. Every week without fail, someone would bleed from picking her up to clean out her cage. We tried EVERYTHING but no matter what, she continued to be a biter lol in the end, we used gardening gloves to handle her :P

even tho she was a biter, we kept her coz she was cute as buttons, and didnt mind playing, as long as she wasnt handled. She would follow the kids around like a puppy dog and beg for their apple pieces lol...we just learnt not to pick her up unless we really really had to lol

  15. I have two golden Hampsters and they have never bitten me once. They have a very sweet disposition. Maybe there is something wrong with it health wise. Maybe it justs likes to bite like some dogs and cats. I guess they all have different personalities. Do you take it out on a daily basis? They need to be handled everyday otherwise they will bite if they aren't use to it. Buy him a running ball. We take ours out every night and let them run. They love it! Also make sure he is getting a nutritious diet. besides his hammy food, Give him corn, Carrots. Mine even eat some fruit, But that can cause diarrhea in some hampsters which can lead to wet tail. Just give him extra love everyday and maybe he will come around!
