My hamsters ears are turning black should i take it to a vet? and what is it?

  1. May be a fungal or bacterial infection. The vet may give you some silvadine, but maybe not. A vet visit is definitely needed. The black means the tissue is nectrotic (dead). It will continue to spread without treatment.
