My hamsters filled up her cheeks with carpet?

she was digging in my carpet and her cheeks are full of the stuff..should i try to get it out? /:

take it out with a Q-tip.

take her to the vet if that doesn't work.

give her some food so she'll drop the carpet pieces and take the food instead, but then take the carpet pieces away as soon as she drops it.

haha im sorry but that just sounds a little funny! how does she even eat the carpet? put her in her cage! and get her some surgery!

yes you should try to get it out, the hamster could swallow it or try to and then you've got problems

keep an eye on her make sure she doesnt eat it if she dsnt start making a burrow or sumtin in her cage then take it out or take her to the vet if u cnt get her to open her mouth or squeeze it out good luck

you should call a vet just to be sure theres nothing to worry about- but usually when hamsters take stuff into their mouth- and store it in their cheeks- its either so they can eat it later or so they can put it in their house. Just like when birds build a nest they go around gathering things they like. Maybe they just want comfier beds =)?

No, that mean she's just trying to collect stuff to build a little burrow in her cage. My hamster did the same thing.

my hamser would sometimes stuff himself full of "not foodz". but thts only cause he wanted 2 "improve" his house. mb urs wants 2 do the same?

It just means it will make a bed or is mad you will never know becayuse i got 3 hamsters and they loe capet so.

oh no its ok they are just going to use it in there cage or home..they wont eat it...they dont like it....one time my hamster ripped up my red wool sweater and i seen it all in the bedding in the cage.they just use it to keep warm and lay in..

if your hamster is digging up the carpet it is probably making a nest or if it is pregnant it is making a nest for the babies
