My hand hurts so badly?

I had blood drawn in my hand today and ever since the area around where they drew the blood is swollen, bruised and my hand hurts when I bend it and press on the area where the blood was drawn. My wrist also hurts when I move it around. Is this normal, and what should I do?

even if it is bruised, its ok. it is normal, even though it will hurt a little bit. i'm guessing that the pain when you move it will go away within a day or two. if your wrist hurts too, it just means that the area is probably sore.

oh and getting blood drawn has similar effects to a shot, the area will be sore for a while.
