My hdmi on my ps3 dosen't work help?

I just turn off my ps3 and the i turn it back on and the tv says no signal what should i do please help me

Try plugging it into the tv using the component video cables (standard def). If that works, go to settings and then video settings. Make sure you set the video output to HDMI. Quickly plug the HDMI in to the PS3 and tv and switch the input on the tv and press accept so the PS3 doesn't revert to its original settings.

This has happenned to me about 2-3 times.

I found that if you turned your tv off, then booted the PS3 and put the tv on this worked.

It was very strange as there was no reason it should happen. It was very random.

What tv do you have?
