My head spins round & round

Like a spinning wheel

My hearts in the swimming pool

Trying to feel

For she left me yesterday

On the sailing keel

Now I have to face

My demons

As I lay on my back

Staring at all her reasons

That so happen to make rain

As a world turns upside down

Falling into a stream

I built roses in her hair

Of forests that climb

Into the air

Now it seems

Whenever I want to talk to her

I have to stand below this chair

While she stands over me

With her nonchalant glare

I pricked my finger

On one of her thorny stems

As I tried to dress up her love heart

With springs & figs

For a new season

that have blinded me

while a cold moon has come over me

she"s left without a trace

  1. Very paradoxical your poem.

I had to go back and read again and again.

    This is good.

    Loved it!

    Congrats!
