My head unit turns off when my bass hits after i turn it up. then turns back on till it hits again?

i have an alpine deck, with an alpine amp, and a 12'' Audiobahn sub. wenever i turn up my stereo the deck shuts off when the bass hits.(im not sure if the amp does).

that  sounds like your ground is bad on your deck,check your ground and make sure it to the metal and tight
