  1. That's not good and should be checked out.  However, if you've been heavy into the coffee or had one of those energy drinks (red bull, Monster) right before your ride, that could cause it.  Those things are bad news.

  2. This might be nothing other than fitness level but it could also be many things related to your heart that can be deadly. My advice would be to see a doctor and have them check you out, especially considering the quick weight gain you experienced.

  3. it happened to me to and it went away after the second time i went out so you are fine just out of hape

  4. is your heart jumping a "feeling" or are you wearing a heart rate monitor?  Also, is your heart rate climbing due to some environmental factor (wind, hills, speeding up) or just random?

My heart rate pedaling along casually is about 120-130, but I will jump over 180 when pushing hard up a hill or sprinting to a town line.

  5. Well.....hearts are important things.   Go see a doctor and don't fool around with it.   Tell him exactly what you're feeling when it happens.

It may just be your body reacting to exercise stress that it isn't used to, but if I were you I'd definitely speak to a doctor just to be safe.  Also, if you're dehydrated, heartbeats often do weird things and your body has to work much harder to cool itself.   Maybe the combination of the two is causing this.

As soon as you know it's safe, keep on riding and enjoying the bike!   :o)

  6. Don't worry about your spelling, you are doing just fine. Ignore that jerk. Some people just cannot see worth beyond what is staring them in the face. Learning three languages is no small task, believe me I know because I've tried. I have a 130 IQ and have been trying to learn spanish to use as a second language for many years now and still have not gotten it, even though my best friend growing up and her family spoke spanish as their primary language.

As for your heart issue, I would definitely see a doctor to be on the safe side. The heart is not something you should ignore. If you think something might be wrong with it, then get it checked out. The doctors can do a test, EKG I think it's called, that will determine if there are any problems with it. Better to be safe now than sorry later.

  7. Get a heart rate monitor.  It's not only an inexpensive tool to maintain efficient weight loss, it will help you maintain your heart rate in a healthy zone.
