My hermit crab..Help please

Question

I've had my hermit crab for a while and now I'm off for college. You're supposed to give then bottled water on their sponge. This isn't a problem now because my mom keeps it around the house for tea, coffee, etc... But, since I'm going to be at college do you think regular water from the faucet would be okay? I don't want Waldo to die! I already killed my other crab, Delilah, on accident. :(

NO!! you can't give hermit crabs water from the tap because it has to much chlorine in it. this causes the gills to blister, meaning eventual suffocation. either buy a dechlorinator (maybe a better investment than continually buying bottled) or give Waldo (cool name!!) bottled water. good luck!!
