  1. Are these bugs flies?

If there are many of these bugs, then chances are that they are breeding in the tank. That would mean eggs, larva, etc.. The only way you can get rid of them is to fully clean the tank.

Throw away and fully replace any substrate you have. Any "decor" should be soaked in a 10% bleach solution (90% water), very thoroughly rinsed, and let to fully dry in the sun; other options for cleaning are baking in an oven at 200°F for 30 minutes or boiling - as appropriate for the item. The tank itself should receive the bleach solution treatment. Every item should be put in new or clean.

Considering that these bugs fly, work on the tank outside to prevent adults from escaping into your home only to find the tank again.

It would probably be best to just throw out the coconut fiber wall and replace it, although you could try to clean it.

To permanently rid of the bugs, you need to prevent them from getting into the tank; find the root of where they are coming from. Are they coming in on food? Are a few adults flying in through openings that are large enough for them to enter and making themselves at home? Then find the solution as it is fit.

  2. You need to clean the tank as well as all the thing in the tank.  Wash with hot water and let dry.  Put the crabs in a bowl of room temp. water for 10 to 15 minutes so they can clean there shells.  Then reassemble the tank.  This should get rid of the mites.

  3. okay, from what I read from your 2 questions is you need to get that crab out of there asap. It sounds like hes being attacked by flying bugs and is screaming to get out!

  4. The reason why bugs are in it is because you need to clean it out really well
