  1. Never mind about how to rid the pain, stop stop stop. when i was 13 i was an athlete, a canoeist, champion to boot, i had a grate coach and a fantastic mentor one of my teachers in fact, the school loved all the trophy's i won, what joy,

But at the time did they care about my shoulders and back that were still developing at my age 13????        NO, all they could see was the glory of the school getting the publicity in sport's

If you're right hip is hurting.  Is your coach qualified in paediatric development or are you so good at running he is good at wanting glory and sod the child.

Please don't think i am trying to put a downer on your ability every child should discover there potential

tell your parents about your hip and get it checked out by someone professional and not by someone who might not have you're bast interests at hart

i hope everything will be ok with you

    good luck

  2. You could use pain killers thats what i use when i get that it could be growing pains, just take it easy and rest,

    hope its better soon. X

  3. Dont run for a few days and lets hope it just clicked out of place.

Your hips shouldnt really move when you run, just keep your upper body upright and move your arms and slightly your torso but apart from that your hips shouldnt do much.

    Hope it gets better!!

  4. Your coach is right.  Take it very easy when running, until your muscles and bones are used to the additional stress.  You must also rest these body parts and if the problem is still there after a few weeks of sensible training, your Doctor should send you for an X-Ray, just in case there is an underlying problem,

  5. listen to your body and REST it !

  6. Try an ice pack (frozen peas from the freezer should do the trick if you don't have one, but wrap a tea towel or cloth around the bag) for 15 minutes at a time and some anti-inflamatories for the swelling around the joint, such as ibuprofen. Next time, ask your coach how he/she expects you to hold your body during running and ask them to give you some extra tuition.

  7. 2 paracetamol every 4 hrs

  8. Several running factors can lead to hip pain or strain including the type of surface you run on, footwear and the length of your running stride.

You could have overused your hip whilst running and its probably become inflamed.

Anti-inflammatory gels, ice packs ibuprofen and relaxing deep massages can help to increase the healing process.

Maybe when you run next time shorten yourr running stride or change to better running shoes or a change the running surface.

    :O)

  9. See an orthopedic doctor, they will be more knowledgeable than your coach about injuries.  It could be as simple as changing shoes.  In the mean time try Thai Yoga Massage, you can find a trained practitioner here  http://www.thaihealingalliance.com/datab...
