  1. Antivirus 2009 or Antivirus 2009, is a new rogue antispyware program. Antivirus 2009 is a latest clone of the famous parasite family that developed rogue antispyware like Antivirus 2008, (Antivirus2008). Antivirus 2009 infection can come into after fake video codec installation that usually comes with malware, Trojan such as Trojan Zlob, Trojan Vundo) or even a virus. Antivirus 2009 generates fake warning popup messages to scare and trick users into punching a "full" version of Antivirus 2009. Users should not trust Antivirus 2009 and they should remove it as soon as possible from their computer system!

  3. that's not good, it's not that easy to get rid of

try to do a system restore to a date before you downloaded it.

I tried to uninstall it via control panel - helped a little

ran AVG and spybot and adware - all helped but it kept coming back.

there was not a restore point the machine that had the virus so I ended up re-loading PC back to factory settings

    hope it helps

  4. Use the add and remove programs tool in control panel to remove the software, and download AVG free as a replacement.

  8. download a trial version of norton 360 and then download a free scan from uniblue.

  9. The problem you have is not a Virus its called malware.  And its getting you into whats called a phishing scam by installing a program on your computer that irritates you and they create popups saying that if you buy their program they can remove the annoyances. Any  way here is what you need to do:

You need to download Spybot Search and Destroy and Malwarebytes.  They will remove the infection from your computer.  You can download them both here at http://www.download.com they are free.  Once going to the link I gave you scroll down you can see where to get them both.  After downloading them do an update on each then run each program (but not at the same time it will make your PC even slower).  After they are finished restart and you will be fine.  Also open Spybot again and do an immunization and that will prevent things like this from happening again in the future.

  10. use manual removal instructions
