My home is overrun by house flies. How do I make them go away?

I have been battling a house fly problem since the beginning of summer. I have no screens in my screen doors, and it started with a couple from outside, and now I can't count them, they are everywhere. What puzzles me is that there is no food laying about, nothing rotting anywhere. {That I'm aware of.} When they first got bad, I thought they were coming from the basement, so I bleached the entire basement floor, just in case. They stopped for a couple of days, then they came back, started with about 5 or 6. I killed them daily. My kids and I had to go away for a night. ONE night!! And now they are everywhere. I have no idea where they are coming from. I cleaned my house from top to bottom. It creeps me out to think that they are laying eggs somewhere in my home, and I'm not finding them. What should I do? I keep looking for whatever they could be using to help them multiply, because there should be something, right?

They are "House Flies" they prefer your house.  please get your screen doors fixed , then bomb the house with aerosol insect killer. screens and screen doors were invented for just that purpose.

Wow.  It's amazing how the critters multiply.  First of all get a screen door where you go in and out.  If you have your windows open get screens on those and if you can't do that, then go find window screens that you can take in and out.  I got mine at Walmart.  Hardware stores have them too usually.  After that, watch for where the critters are coming in and seal it up somehow.  With tape or caulking.  This should about do it.  Now go get a package of bombs and bomb for them with the house all closed up.  You can usually come back in three hours, open up the house to get the odor out and you will find all kinds of flies and other insects dead.  Good luck.
