My home office doesn't have a telephone jack and I want to hook up my fax machine, how can I do it?

radio shack sell as wireless jack to use in rooms with no jack. it's kind of pricey (almost 100) but it will work, you wont have to pay the phone company to come out (they probably charge the same amount), you can take it with you when you move, and it's a deductable business expense

You will have to get your local phone company to install a jack for you.

Depending on you provider and lines run to your place, it may be a very simple addition for you as they usually can run a second line, using the existing lines that are already installed.

There are some wireless jack extenders that you can buy, but are not really recommended for fax, as the quality is not that great, and can be subject to interference which will result in poor or lost faxes, as well as a great deal of frustration.

You may also want to consider an Voip or broadband phone which seem to work extremely well. I have tried all options mentioned above with great success each time.
