Question:

My horse acts crazy when we run plz help?

ok well i have a beautiful bay quarter horse she is 3 years old and has never bucked me off or never acts up..she is a little skiddish but now she has gotten real good i trust her alot..but when we lope on a dirt roads she trys to go up on the grass and its like she is about to run into mail boxes..i try to rein her back onto the dirt road but only her head turns and not her body if feels real akward...when we are trotting or just walking she leads fine..what do i do and does anyone else have the same problem or have in the past?

  1. Well even though it is a dirt road maybe it is hurting her hooves because my horse does the same thing. She is also a QH but four years old. I think try working on the lope in a ring, or different area & get it so that you both get AMAZINGLY great at it & you feel you could show the world how good you look. Then try the road again. Also if she gets to know that you trust her with all your heart, & will never let anything happen to her she maybe a little more willing to trust what you think. Maybe if you use a hackomore.
