My horse has a huge "p**p"/greenie on his white side. It WILL NOT come out. I groom and groom it. I use greenie blocks on it. I've bathed it AND quick silvered it millions of times. The spot is starting to turn almost greyish because all the quick silver... well I think.

So my question is::

Is there any product or method that can take the stain out and make it nice and bright white again?? THANKS!!

  1. use woolite. we used to wash our dalmation with it. the vet said it was fine to use. :)

  2. There are many whitening shampoo's. Try one of those, they are usually blue in color, work very well!!

  3. 2 words.. COWBOY MAGIC!!!

    It works wonders and I always make sure I have it with me at shows because I have a light golden palomino and she always has "p**p" stains on her legs. Just spray it on the stain, take a clean cloth and rub it it.. Let it dry and wa-la! Your p**p stains gone..

    You can also use any of the many whitening shampoos. I use one on her white socks and those work good too!

  4. There's this stuff called Cowboy Magic Greenspot Remover. I don't know how well it works because I have never used it, but here's the site w/ an explanation http://www.cowboymagic.com/articles-02-q...

  5. White 'N Brite Horse Shampoo works wonders on gray coats.

    Check your local feed store for a specific coat stain remover, not merely a white shampoo. Most likely, they'll be able to suggest you something.

    Thats bizarre that its not coming out. D:

  6. White horses are a pain to keep clean.

    If you've tried cowboy magic, and blueing shampoo, and its still there..

    buy some HORSE spray paint.

    You can find it at tack stores or in catalogs. Get the white touch up spray.

    Wash the stain as much as possible before a show, and then spray the spot before you go to a class (but make sure its dry before you spray).

    BUT if your horse is shaggy, be super careful about using color spray, because it might look totally fake.

  7. bruush with alcohol/peroxide

  8. shave it ...... just the spot..
