My horse has a rash/fungus inside her ear. It starts from the tip to the middle. Any qlues?

Does it look like warts?

What color is it?

Is it white?  If so, these are called plaques.  As far as I know they are not a fungus but I don't know how to resolve them.  I know people who have them and show their horses so they color the white plaques with a marker before showing so they can't be seen.
